Spend a Day with the Colin Powell School Feb. 27

Since its inauguration last May, the Colin Powell School's programming—including public lectures, service-learning courses, partnerships between faculty and community organizations, and more—is driven by our desire to blend the intellectual resources of a public university with the diverse energy of the city: its leaders, its communities, its global network. On February 27, we invite you to "Spend a Day with City College," where you’ll get an insider’s view of our plans for the future.

The day includes the next talk in our popular breakfast series "Conversations with City," which will feature eminent psychologist Dr. Don Meichenbaum; campus tours; an early evening reception at the beautiful and historic Great Hall in Shephard Hall, featuring remarks from our newly appointed dean along with opportunities to meet our faculty and staff; and the next installment of our Human Rights Forum, which will focus on culturally-specific museums' role in directing public discourse on human rights issues.

It's a great opportunity to get a sampling of what the Colin Powell School has to offer—for students, area scholars, community organizations, and the public at large.

RSVP for individual events on February 27 on our eventbrite page.
